About Amy
I'm Amy, a Registered Psychologist based in Edmonton, Alberta, and the founder of Baobab Psychology & Wellness. Before becoming a psychologist, I spent more than a decade supporting children with cancer and their families, contributing to research, and working with the Integrative Health Institute at the University of Alberta. These experiences shaped my passion for integrative health and reinforced my belief in a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to wellbeing.
From a young age, I felt drawn to understanding people and the stories that shape their lives. I believe every person has an innate capacity for healing, growth, and resilience, and it is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with themselves, discover their strengths, and create lives that feel authentic, meaningful, and aligned with their values.
Known for my compassionate presence, thoughtful insight, and ability to see the bigger picture, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you uncover the wisdom, strengths, and possibilities that have been within you all along.
