  • And More

Attachment Injuries & Childhood Trauma

Our earliest relationships shape how we experience safety, trust, connection, and our sense of self. When childhood or significant relationships are marked by inconsistency, neglect, conflict, or trauma, these experiences can continue to influence our emotions, relationships, self-worth, and nervous system well into adulthood. Therapy provides a safe, compassionate space to explore these experiences with curiosity and self-compassion. Drawing from attachment theory, EMDR, and somatic approaches, we'll work to process painful experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and help you move beyond survival toward greater confidence, connection, and lasting healing.

You may benefit from therapy if you're experiencing:

  • Anxiety or complex trauma (C-PTSD)

  • Difficulty trusting or fear of abandonment

  • Low self-esteem, self-criticism, or people-pleasing

  • Emotional shutdown or difficulty with vulnerability

  • Challenging relationship patterns

  • Nervous system dysregulation or chronic stress

  • Physical symptoms linked to trauma, such as tension, fatigue, or digestive issues

Anxiety

Anxiety can affect every aspect of life, showing up as persistent worry, racing thoughts, panic, perfectionism, physical tension, or a constant feeling of being on edge. Therapy provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space to understand the underlying causes of anxiety while developing practical tools to help you feel more calm, grounded, and in control. Drawing from person-centred, somatic, and polyvagal-informed approaches, we'll strengthen your nervous system's capacity for regulation so you can move beyond simply managing anxiety toward living with greater confidence, resilience, and ease.

Areas of focus include:

  • Generalized anxiety and excessive worry

  • Panic attacks and panic disorder

  • Social anxiety, health anxiety, and specific phobias

  • OCD and obsessive thoughts

  • Overthinking and racing thoughts

  • Perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and fear of failure

  • People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries

  • Relationship and separation anxiety

  • Stress, burnout, and workplace or academic pressure

  • Sleep difficulties and nervous system dysregulation

Life Transitions & Major Decisions

Life is full of transitions, and even positive changes can bring uncertainty and stress. Whether you're navigating a career change, relationship shifts, parenthood, grief, identity exploration, relocation, retirement, or another significant life event, therapy can provide a supportive space to process your experiences and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Using a person-centred approach, I work collaboratively with you to explore your values, strengths, and goals while helping you navigate difficult emotions and uncertainty. Together, we can build self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen your confidence in making decisions that align with the life you want to create. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself as you move through life's transitions with resilience and purpose.

Personal & Professional Development

Therapy is not only for navigating difficult times, it can also be a powerful space for personal and professional growth. Whether you're striving to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, improve relationships, clarify your values, prevent burnout, or create a more meaningful and balanced life, therapy offers the opportunity for deeper self-awareness and intentional change. I provide a supportive environment where you can explore your goals, identify barriers, and build on your existing strengths. Drawing from somatic and polyvagal-informed perspectives, we can also explore how your nervous system influences your thoughts, emotions, decision-making, and performance, helping you cultivate greater resilience, authenticity, and confidence. Together, we will work toward helping you thrive—not just personally and professionally, but in a way that feels aligned with who you are and the life you want to create.

Relationships

The quality of your relationships is the single greatest predictor of health and longevity. For this reason, healthy, fulfilling relationships are one of the strongest contributors to our overall well-being, resilience, and life satisfaction. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples build conscious, connected, and thriving relationships grounded in authenticity, trust, and effective communication. Whether you are dating, preparing for marriage, navigating the complexities of a long-term partnership, working through separation or divorce, co-parenting, or wanting to strengthen your relationships with family, friends, or colleagues, therapy provides a supportive space to deepen self-awareness and create meaningful change. Using a person-centred, attachment-informed approach, I help clients better understand the patterns that shape their relationships, including the influence of early life experiences and attachment styles. I support you in developing greater emotional regulation, setting healthy boundaries, and learning more productive ways of communicating and resolve conflict. I work with individuals and couples of all backgrounds and relationship structures, supporting you in developing the insight, skills, and confidence to create relationships that are not only healthy, but deeply connected and fulfilling.

Stress & Burnout

Have you been stuck in a state of information overload and chronic overwhelm? Chronic stress and burnout can leave you feeling emotionally and physically exhausted, disconnected from yourself, and struggling to keep up with the demands of daily life. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by work, caregiving, relationships, or the ongoing pressures of balancing multiple responsibilities, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. Together, we will explore the factors contributing to your stress, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop practical strategies that support sustainable well-being. I tailor therapy to your unique experiences and goals while helping you better understand how chronic stress impacts your mind, body, and nervous system. Drawing from somatic and polyvagal-informed perspectives, we will work to increase your awareness of your body's signals, strengthen your capacity for regulation, and cultivate a greater sense of safety, balance, and resilience. Whether your goal is to prevent burnout, recover from it, or create a healthier relationship with work and life's demands, I am here to help you move from simply getting through each day to feeling more energized, connected, and fulfilled.
